What is a “PDCK concept?”

PDCK is short for Papa Dubi’s Cajun Kitchen, also located in Albertville. We’ve been around since 2005 and have been blessed to serve up our spin on Cajun cooking for close to 20 years.

We've been kicking around ideas for years, a different concept. With the city of Albertville growing, the addition of the SMPA, and the decade long friendship with Main Channel Brewing Co we feel like this is the time to start a new culinary journey.

THE COLLABORATION

The Main Channel-Papa Dubi's relationship has been strong since the beginnings of inception of the brewery. We've kicked around ideas and dreamed big dreams of one day collaborating for Marshall County's #1 spot. We've come close before, but now it's a reality. We think with their beer, location, and beautiful building mixed with our culinary abilities will create the ultimate hang out spot in Marshall County.

THE CONCEPT

Hydrant City Grill, located in the heart of downtown Albertville, brings you the best flavors around. From mouthwatering smash burgers to crispy smoked wings, philly cheesesteaks, chicken, and salads there's something for everyone at our grill.

Step into our vibrant space inside The Main Channel Brewing Co. and experience a culinary journey like no other. Our food is crafted with care and passion, ensuring each bite is a delightful experience.

THE COMMUNITY

When coming up with a name for the new concept, we wanted something to tie in with the locals. Albertville has always been known as the "Fire hydrant capital of the world." We want to highlight this by getting our customers to send in pictures of fire hydrants with "Albertville, Al" from all 50 states and the countless countries that proudly boast our town's name. When you go on vacation, keep your eyes peeled for a Mueller fire hydrant, take a selfie send it to our Facebook page or email (wyounghouse@gmail.com) and we will get it framed and hung on the wall. Our goal is to cover all 50 states and however many countries our customers can find. We will do one picture per state and will rotate them annually, so keep those pictures coming.
